Festival Place shopping centre in Basingstoke has 165 shops ranging from designer to casual wear, from boots and shoes to cookware and house-ware and from sports wear and equipment to books and music. It is considered to be a serious place for shopping in a light and airy atmosphere, boasting 26 restaurants, cafes and bars, a 3,000 vehicle car park and just 3 minutes from the M3 and two minutes from the main line railway station.
The premier shopping destination on the south coast is Westquay located in Southampton's city centre. There are over 90 stores offering a splendid selection of retail brands including John Lewis and Marks and Spencer. WestQuay shopping centre is clearly signposted from junctions on the M3, M27 and M271 with 4,000 car parking spaces available in the Podium and multi-storey car parks.
